MM- Whatʼs your impression about basketball in Jordan so far?
LO- My first impression of Jordanian basketball is Physical! Ive never fealt my body ache so much as it was the first week of practice. Playing in America is a breeze compared to here.
MM- You were the best scorer between your team in Iran, How did you find the U18 National Team performance in Asian Championship?
LO- The performance of my team and I was very poor. I fealt like we could of played better from what I have seen in our practices. The defense was very poorly exucuted and our offense was terrible because know one knew his role. Everyone was to worried about scoring and forgot about winning. Starting from the point guards all the way down to the centers.
MM- What are your plans for the upcoming season? Will you stay and play in Jordan?
LO- On Saturday The senior mens National team will be coming back from Qater, so I will be continuing with them. I wil stay Also for the club season, but still havent made my decision on which club to join.
MM- Did you know about the Premier League (JPL) teams? What did you know about them?

LO- I've got to see Enver on the mens division play against lebanon in the orthodox club who I thought was a great player with a very strong shot.
MM- After calling you up to the men national team, Are you looking to improve yourself within the 1st team?
LO- I am really looking forward to play on the mens national team and improving myself for Asia tournement 2009. I am gonna really work hard to improve myself to help contribute as much as I can to the team.

- Louay Obeidi's full profile:
Date of birth: 23/08/1990 Nationality: American/Jordanian
Height (cm): 198 Weight (kg): 101
Position: Shooting Guard/Power Forward/ or Point guard
Career/Comments:
Very Mature and clever player, that creates plays from all aspects of the court.. Louay Obeidi is interchangeable right and left handed player who loves to get his man in foul trouble when it comes to one on one situation. He is a great slasher to the basket, and is very multi-dimensional when it comes to shooting the ball, whether it is coming off screens, jump shots, or even set shots, Louay knows how to use his shooting skill in a very dangerous way. Louay has a smart sense of attacking his man where heʼs most vulnerable; the one aspect of his game that really sticks out is his ability to score. Very difficult to defend because Louay has the size of a big man but the ability of a point guard. When being guarded by a big man he is able to beat him to the basket which causes double teams and more players to be open or when being tested by a small man he has the muscle and strength to be isolated in the post for an easy two-points. He speaks fluent English and Arabic, and is learning Spanish. Easily adapts to society and is an ambitious and quick learner.
